Snapshot is a 2,000-word short story set in Toronto. Like
the novel,
The Binbrook Caucus,
its protagonist, Rick, is a hustler—a gay male prostitute.
Upon receiving a letter with a snapshot from his older sister, Dana, who lives in South Carolina with her husband, Rick recalls the tragic death of their brother, Jem, years before during an idyllic summer on Lake Erie.
